"Morning Brew" Quick Page for Coffee Lovers
As promised after the release of my “Morning Brew” kit yesterday, I have for you today the first of two quick pages I created to accompany the set. Today’s page is for the coffee lovers; be sure to come back tomorrow if you’re a tea lover, as I haven’t forgotten you!
This quick page is 3600 x 3600 in 300 dpi (12″ x 12″) and uses papers and elements from my “Morning Brew” kit given away yesterday. Personal use and all of that jazz, be sure to read the TOU included.

Freebie Friday: Morning Brew
I’m a little later than usual getting my Freebie Friday posted, but I didn’t forget you! This weekend I’ve got a 3-day special: my newest kit, “Morning Brew!” Today’s gift is the kit itself — complete with 4 papers and 13 elements, broken into two downloads for your convenience. Tomorrow will be the first of two quick pages: one for coffee lovers. Sunday’s quick page freebie will be for the tea lovers. :) “Morning Brew” is dedicated to the two drinks we just can’t live without in the morning, whose warmth prepares us for the day ahead. (Or soothe us just before bed if you prefer the decaffeinated variety!) For the coffee fans, you’ll find a steaming coffee mug element, either by itself or with a napkin underneath. The tea lovers will love the individual mug of hot tea and tea bag elements, which also alternately come with a napkin underneath. Additional elements include decorative mats, tea and coffee stains and coffee beans. Inspire a little caffeine in your layouts with “Morning Brew!” I personally photographed both the coffee and tea mugs, napkins and the tea bag for extraction in this kit, so I’m especially proud of the turn out. :)

Don’t forget to come back tomorrow (and Sunday) to snag the two freebie quick pages that I designed to go along with this kit. I’m sure the coffee or tea lover in you will love them! Happy Freebie Friday and hope you have a wonderful weekend :)
Peas in a Pod
It’s Wednesday and I just decided today seemed like a good day for a freebie. Since I had peas with my dinner this evening (yum!) I figured giving away my “Peas in a Pod” frame was a perfect idea. This puffy felt-ish frame features three little holes where the peas go for your photos. If three’s not enough peas for you, I’ve also included a separate single pea frame so that no one gets left out. Use it for baby stuff or use it just because. I love peas :D
Your download includes the three pea pod frame, a single pea frame and the Peas in a Pod paper I designed for the mini pack that you can see in the preview. I hope you enjoy the freebie!

You Are My Sunshine, Readers
Today’s freebie is dedicated to you. That’s right, you. As a special thank you to all of my readers, I made up a new quick page today. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you all for stopping by, for downloading my creations and for leaving comments (sometimes here, sometimes on 4shared) or for sending me thoughtful emails to let me know you care and that you enjoy my work. You are the reason why I put time in to make these digital scrapping goodies and you inspire me to keep going, keep growing, and keep making more as I learn. Some of you have been with me since my very first freebie and know that I’ve come a long way since then. I have met some incredible people via this blog who have shown me a lot of gratitude and today I want to show my gratitude for you and put as big a smile on YOUR face as you put on mine. You are my sunshine, readers! Enjoy today’s freebie: a quick page I dreamed up just for you.

Thank you for being my sunshine and for pushing me to keep creating each and every day.
Fall in the Mountains Quick Page Freebie
As promised yesterday, here is the quick page freebie for my “Fall in the Mountains” mini kit. You can see it in use in my personal digital scrapbook gallery (page 43 at the bottom right). In the freebie preview to the left here it shows the page with text on it; the actual quick page doesn’t have text, that’s just something I added to the page after I inserted the photo I wanted to use with it :) I hope you enjoy the freebie. If you missed my mini kit that coordinates with this page, be sure to check out yesterday’s post on Freebie Friday to grab it. Happy scrapping.

Freebie Friday: Fall in the Mountains
Friday is here again, and besides being one of the best days of the week (yay for the weekend!) that also means it’s Freebie Friday here at the pink toque craft blog. Today I have the first part of my “Fall in the Mountains” series: today is the mini kit and tomorrow is a quick page I made up using it. Last weekend my little family (my husband and our two dogs) went up into Banff National Park in the Canadian Rockies to revisit the place where my husband proposed nearly a year ago. We set off to hike at beautiful Lake Minnewanka with the boys, returning to that special spot as Mr. and Mrs. It was very sweet :) We hiked for nearly two and a half hours and took lots of georgeous pictures out there. I was inspired to create a little mini kit that I call “Fall in the Mountains” to pull colours from our adventures and get them down on digital paper.
“Fall in the Mountains” comes with two full sized background papers and a bracket paper, plus two large mat papers: a mountain photo mat and a large maple leaf shaped mat. The mini kit also includes 9 other elements ranging from fall trees to leaves and even a little Canadian Rockies element and frame. I hope you’ll be able to get some good use out of it :)
Download my “Fall in the Mountains” mini kit HERE and be sure to leave me some love if you do, I always love reading your comments here on my blog. And don’t forget to come back tomorrow for the QP! You can see a sample of it being used in my personal digital scrapbook gallery, page 43 at the bottom.
I’m off to pick up my little man — Winston, our white mini schnauzer went in for surgery this morning to get “fixed” and now he’s all ready for mama to come and get him. I hope he’s not in too much pain! The poor little guy has to wear a big cone collar for a bit until the incision heals. I’m sure I’ll have pics of his cute little face in a cone to share tomorrow ;) But the vet says he’s in good spirits and everything went beautifully, so I know he’ll be glad to come home and rest. Happy Friday!
CU Roses Freebie
Just popping in to give away a quick commercial use freebie this evening: some roses! My husband is such a sweetheart and brought me home these gorgeous roses for no reason at all late last week. I wish I could keep cut flowers forever, but eventually they wither and I have to toss them in the trash. I decided I’d try my hand at photographing and extracting a few of the roses so that in a way, I could keep them forever… and give them away as a commercial use freebie so that others could benefit from them, too!
There are five greyscale roses in this kit, and each one is easy to recolour to match and supplement any of your kit designs. Please be sure to read the commercial use terms included! I hope you’ll find some good uses for these beautiful flowers.

See you back on Friday for Freebie Friday — I have a new mini kit and a new QP to give away this weekend that I know you won’t want to miss :) Enjoy your evening, and I look forward to reading any comments you leave!
My Memories Suite Tutorial 3: Using Quick Pages
My latest tutorial for My Memories Suite is ready to go! Today’s tutorial, the third in the series, teaches you how to use quick pages within the My Memories Suite software. The tutorial assumes that you have already watched tutorial 2 and understand how to add additional content to your program’s directories (which you must do to add quick pages) and then how to physically use quick pages you’ve added within My Memories Suite. It’s a quick and simple video this time (under 8 minutes, whew!), and I’ve put it over at YouTube since YouTube will allow you to watch in high quality and bookmark it for later use.
If you have any questions about the third installment of the My Memories Suite tutorial series I’ve been creating, let me know and I’d be happy to help or explain anything that isn’t clear :)
Need a quick page to use as a test when you follow along with the video? Nab my “Thankful for You” quick page from Sunday — it’s a great way to show off the things you’re thankful for this season :) Happy scrapping!
Updated January 28, 2009: I am now part of the affiliate program and can offer readers of my craft blog who enjoyed this tutorial a $10 discount on the My Memories Suite software, plus an additional $10 to spend in the MMS online store! To get the discount, click the banner link in the upper right corner/sidebar of my blog (Where it says “Get My Memories Suite”) or the link below, and use coupon/promo code STMMMS21122. Enjoy! :D

Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving, Canada! Yesterday I gave away my “Thankful for You” quick page, and today I have another little freebie for you: the “Thankful” series of cluster frames! There are two frames in the pack, identical except that on one, the tag already has the text “Thankful for You” on it while the other frame’s tag is blank in case you want to put your own sentiment there instead. All you have to do is add your own background and insert a photo and voila! Show the world what you’re thankful for and use the frame on your own choice of background to give it your own personal flair. No matter if you use the QP from yesterday or use today’s frame(s) to incorporate into your own personal use designs, be sure to show off the people you are thankful for proudly, and don’t forget to remind them today, too!
Download my “Thankful” series of cluster frames HERE and be sure to leave some love if you download!
I’m working on some more freebies for you; I’ve created a little kit (and a coordinating quick page) to the tune of spending time in the mountains during fall as well as another autumn-y quick page that I’ve used to showcase photos from our little family trip out into the Canadian Rockies on Saturday to experience the fall colours. Want to see all of the fantastic photos we took? Check out our family gallery here. But don’t blame me if you suddenly have an urge to move here! ;) I’ve got some upcoming CU items coming as well, and even a new alpha. So much to give away it’s going to take weeks to release it all! See you back here real soon :) Hope you and yours have a wonderful Thanksgiving. <3
Thankful for You Quick Page Freebie
Happy Sunday everyone :) With it being a Thanksgiving long weekend I’ve got the first part of my Canadian Thanksgiving freebie giveaway for you today, and the other piece will be released tomorrow in time for turkey and all the trimmings. :) I whipped up a little quick page that I call “Thankful for You” that will be perfect to showcase what YOU are most thankful for this Thanksgiving. I chose a recent photo of my boys together: my husband, Lucas and our two dogs, Oliver and Winston because I am most thankful for my happy little family.

Yesterday we spent the day out in the Canadian Rockies at Lake Minnewanka in Banff National Park hiking up along the trails there around the lake and enjoying the fresh air and the last of the fall colours before the snow comes.
Surprisingly it was very sunny and not windy enough to make it too cold for us, and we took some amazing photos. I can’t wait to get scrapping with them; you can be sure I’ll have some to share very soon. (Along with a freebie that coordinates with the day!)
This evening we’ve been invited to have Thanksgiving dinner at Michelle’s mom’s house and we are thankful to have such good friends. Hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving! See you back here tomorrow for the second part of “Thankful for You.”
