I'm just getting ready to try My Memories Suite for the first time; have used another scrapbook program for several years now, but am wanting to do a couple for professional printing this time, which attracted me to this program.

Am having trouble finding information on whether there is a page limit on your uploads to Polaroid; likely my scrapbook will be bigger than the 10-page limit (at least it sounds like this program has a 10-page limit per album?), so am assuming I will need to break up my finished album into two or three files. Can these be combined in the final printed product so that I end up with just one printed album?

Also, I haven't explored this, actually, but is there an ability to use characters from other languages in the fonts? I am wanting to subtitle my album in Spanish, and am wondering about the ability to locate characters used in Spanish, but not in English.

Hi Barb!

Thanks for your comments :) Glad the tutorials were able to help you!

Firstly, when I use my own embellishments, PNG format is preferred because often embellishments are not perfectly square or rectangular, and need to have transparent backgrounds, which PNG format supports. However, you CAN use other image formats such as JPG, GIF, etc. so you're not limited there.

Secondly, if you put your scrapbook pages on a DVD you can play it in any DVD player, whether on your computer or in your DVD player for your TV. :) Hope that helps!

Happy Holidays!

Yes, this is branded by Polaroid but was built/created by Story Rock. I am not sure of Polaroid's involvement at this time, but that's how it was released originally. :)

Is this the same program as My Memories suite Polaroid? I'm new to diti scrapping and this program looks promising. Just wondering if this is the same program as the Polaroid you can buy on amazon with the different disk. I am confused-can you tell?!

Hey Karen!

This is a good question. Back when I made my very first photobook with MMS, I was living in Canada. I had troubles when using the online photobook creator and it didn't want to let me complete the photobook when trying to ship to Canada. I ended up having the photobook shipped to my parents in the states. HOWEVER, that was back with MMS version 1, and these days MMS is promoting how much easier it is to order photobooks in version 2. I have not yet made a photobook in version 2 so I cannot say if this has been fixed - not to mention that I'm now living back in the states, so this is something you should definitely call customer service about first!

Best of luck - I hope that is something they fixed - it's been a year or two so I'm confident things have been smoothed out with that, but really best to check first.

I just bought My Memories Suite and I am hoping to make some photo books. Do you know if I will have to pay brokerage fees (or any other surprises) for shipping to Canada? Thanks :)

From what I can tell, with the new version 2 out and being $39 instead of $59, the discount is built in - I am not sure how the affiliate program will work after this point, but My Memories Suite used to be $59 so the price of $39 that is showing up at the moment is the discount as far as I know for the immediate future. The price may go up in the future, in which then they'll probably have a promo code for affiliates, but for now that is the cheapest price!
